Touch
There's no clean way to empty most catchers.
Fit
Popular catchers fit tub drains, not stall showers.
Pool
A full catcher can slow the drain.
How it's designed to work.

1
Set the ring.
An adapter ring fits common 1.5 to 2 in stall drains (design target).

2
Catch the hair.
Hair wraps the comb teeth under a flat slotted cover, about 12 mm tall (target). Water flows through the slots.

3
Lift and twist.
Lift it by the fold-up tab and twist the cover over the bin. A stripper ring slides down the teeth and pushes the hair off.

4
Toss and set back.
The hair drops into the bin. No hand contact with the hair (design goal).
